Our Heritage
AVR Swarna Mahal legacy was founded by Sri A.V. Ramachandran, who migrated to Salem from Kumbakonam nine decades ago.
Over time, the shop came to be identified for its fine designs and unparalleled service, as well as his silver Annapakshi betel box, which is now our brand identity. Both the shop and divine bird represent purity, craftsmanship, trust, and reliability, which saw the business expand consistently over a period of time.
AVR Swarna Mahal is now a leading jewellery house with a strong presence across South India. Our 25,000 sqft showroom set up in 2004 in Swarnapuri, Salem is a landmark destination for the city.
Now we are present in 2 states, 16 locations and 20 branches across South India.
Even as we move towards the future, we stay rooted in our traditional values, artistic and cultural heritage. This is reflected in our exclusive gold, silver, diamond, and platinum jewellery collection as well as our exquisite temple and authentic wedding jewellery.
